Wrist Tendonitis or DeQuervains Tendonitis is commonly an overuse injury that results in an irritation or swelling around the tendons of the thumb. This causes pain in the front of the wrist, which can be felt when grasping an object or pinching the fingers. At its most advanced level it can also result in a small lump in the wrist above the carpal tunnel. Our range of wrist supports are ideal for tendonitis in the wrist. Our Wrist Splints contain a metal bar that helps immobilise the wrist whilst our Wrist Guards do not have a metal bar and provide good support without restricting movement.
